چکیده
As a result of its wide range applications, FSI has grabbed the attention researchers and scientists. In this study we consider an incompressible, laminar fluid flowing through bifurcated channel. The wavy walls channel are considered elastic. Moreover, magnetic field is applied towards axial direction flow. Using two-way fluid-structure interaction, Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian (ALE) formulation used for coupling problem. problem discretized using P2 id="m2">P1 finite element methods to approximate displacement, pressure, velocity. linearized system equations solved Newton’s iterative scheme. analysis carried out Reynolds number Hartman number. ranges studied parameters id="m3">300≤Re≤1000 Hartmann id="m4">0≤Ha≤10 . hemodynamic effects on elastic calculated velocity, wall shear stresses (WSS), loads at walls. shows there increase in boundary load as values hence WSS increases. On other hand, increases resistance forces velocity decrease. Also, numerical rigid calculated. Studies showed that decreases case when compare CFD (computational dynamic) case.

Numerical Study of Fluid Mixing in a Grooved Micro-Channel with Wavy Sidewalls
In this work, we perform numerical simulation of fluid mixing in a floor-grooved micro-channel with wavy sidewalls which may impose perturbation on the helical flow induced by the slanted grooves on the channel floor. The perturbation is caused by separation vortices in the recesses of the wavy-walled channel as the Reynolds number is large enough. The results show that the effects of the wavy ...
متن کاملFluid-structure interaction studies on marine propeller
Composite propellers offer high damping characteristics and corrosion resistance when compared with metal propellers. But the design of a hybrid composite propeller with the same strength of metal propeller is the critical task. For this purpose, the present paper focusses on fluid-structure interaction analysis of hybrid composite propeller with Carbon/Epoxy, R-Glass/Epoxy and S2-Glass/Epoxy t...
متن کاملFluid-structure Interaction Vibration Analysis of Vertical Cylindrical Containers with Elastic Bottom Plate Made of Functionally Graded Materials
In the present paper a method is proposed to investigate the free vibration of a partially liquid-filled cylindrical tank. The mechanical properties of the container are assumed to change continuously along the thickness according to volume fraction Power-law, Sigmoid or Exponential distribution. The liquid is supposed to be incompressible and in viscid and its velocity potential is formulated ...

The purpose of this paper is to study a model coupling an incompressible viscous fluid with an elastic structure in a bounded container. We prove the existence of weak solutions “à la Leray” as long as no collisions occur.
متن کاملFluid-structure interaction in a pre-stressed tube with thick elastic walls I: the stationary Stokes problem
This is a study of the fluid-structure interaction between the stationary Stokes flow of an incompressible, Newtonian viscous fluid filling a three-dimensional, linearly elastic, pre-stressed hollow tube. The main motivation comes from the study of blood flow in human arteries. Most literature on fluid-structure interaction in blood flow utilizes thin structure models (shell or membrane) to des...
